Thanks Jim. We've been pushing to close the holes left in the gap between upper management needs and team needs. The language at the 30k foot level (strategy) comes with its own measures and rarely, if ever, translate to the daily work level (tactics). The funny thing is, you can't have tactical success without a strategic goal (except by luck).
But the silos keeping people from the acts and products of strategic thinking are in-grained.

It’s not just the number of siloes, but the number of layers. It’s hard to get the message thru 15 layers of management.
